Line Dance Connection:

How did you get involved in dancing?

Chris Page:

I was promoting my CD that had a line dance song as the featured track.

Line Dance Connection:

After you attended your very first class, how did you feel?

Chris Page:

My first class was in Miami at the Steppers Weekend.  I was in town recording for the Bobby Jones Show and Jamie said I could come and teach my dance.  I was overwhelmed not only by all of the dances but by the great people who were complete strangers to me but they kept trying to keep me on beat. LOL

Line Dance Connection:

How did you get into choreography?

Chris Page:

I created the Sanctified Slide song for my cd and I had to come up with a dance to go with the song.

Line Dance Connection:

How many dances have you created and what was the very first dance you created?

Chris Page:

I have created three dances but have eight songs that I have written that have a line dance.  My first dance was Sanctified Slide.

Line Dance Connection:

Of all your dances which one would you say is your favorite?

Chris Page:

That I choreographed it would be a tie between Falling In Love and Sanctified Slide but to my music Beauty Never Fades because I love the message in the song.

Line Dance Connection:

In your own words, what makes dancing special?

Chris Page:

Dancing is cool but what really makes it special to me is the people.  I wouldn't be where I am in life if it weren't for some of the special people in Line Dancing.

Line Dance Connection:

If you could change one thing about dancing, what would it be?

Chris Page:

I just pray that we do not let the few that get caught up in fake celebrity status, awards, rumors, spirit of competition, the quest for fortune and fame, and minding other people's business consume that which the majority find as a place of joy and solitude.  Dance before the Lord with all your might.

Line Dance Connection:

Tell me one thing about yourself that the dance community would find surprising.

Chris Page:

Professionally, I was considered for a Grammy and I've worked with a wide variety of artist from Kirk Franklin to the Goodie Mob. Personally, I used to ride 100 mile bike rides and one day I want to participate in a triathlon.
