Line Dance Connection:	What's your name? Do you have any dance nicknames that you're known by?
James Carr Jr.:	My name is James G. Carr, Jr., affectionately known by my Line Dance Family as Hy N-R-G (pronounced High Energy).
Line Dance Connection:	Where are you from and what city do you call home?
James Carr Jr.:	I'm originally from Philadelphia, PA, and I currently reside in Durham, NC.
Line Dance Connection:	What do you do in your professional life? Any hobbies outside of dance?
James Carr Jr.:	Currently, I'm what's called a Business Solutions Developer (mostly computer programming and business systems analysis). My hobbies outside of line dancing, I love to travel and spend time with loved ones.
Line Dance Connection:	Are you affiliated with any group or groups?
James Carr Jr.:	I am a member of Line Dance Fever & Fitness (LDFF).
Line Dance Connection:	How long have you been dancing?
James Carr Jr.:	I have been line dancing since November 2010, so about 4 1/2 years now.
Line Dance Connection:	How did you get involved in dancing?
James Carr Jr.:	Line dancing is actually something I had been wanting to get into for years, before a really good friend of mine introduced me to the group. I saw line dancing in clubs and at college parties but no one could ever tell me where to learn them, and YouTube videos weren't popular back then. One day, during a conversation, my friend mentioned going to a class, we met up, so I could try it, and I never stopped.
Line Dance Connection:	What do you like most about line dancing?
James Carr Jr.:	Line dancing is an incredibly fun and healthy activity. The music is great, the people are wonderful, and the travel for events is awesome.
Line Dance Connection:	If you could change one thing about dancing, what would it be?
James Carr Jr.:	Honestly, I wouldn't change a thing.
Line Dance Connection:	Tell me one thing about yourself that the dance community would find surprising.
James Carr Jr.:	It might surprise people that I used to be real shy about dancing in front of others. Especially people I didn't know. I was a true wall flower.

James Carr Jr.:	Nothing I couldn't explain without acting it out. Lol
