Line Dance Connection:

How did you get involved in dancing?

James Carr Jr.:

Line dancing is actually something I had been wanting to get into for years, before a really good friend of mine introduced me to the group. I saw line dancing in clubs and at college parties but no one could ever tell me where to learn them, and YouTube videos weren't popular back then. One day, during a conversation, my friend mentioned going to a class, we met up, so I could try it, and I never stopped.

Tell me one thing about yourself that the dance community would find surprising.

James Carr Jr.:

It might surprise people that I used to be real shy about dancing in front of others. Especially people I didn't know. I was a true wall flower.
