My name is Ladeveris Hathorne but for the most part I am known as Dangerous Deb.  People do call me Stiletto Diva as well.

Where are you from and what city do you call home?

Ladeveris Hathorne:

 I'm from Detroit , MI but I live in Southfield, MI.

What do you do in your professional life? Any hobbies outside of dance?

Ladeveris Hathorne:

I worked for the US Postal Service as a Sales and Service Associate.

 

I love to skate but my knees are way too bad for that now. I also love to read.

Are you affiliated with any group or groups?

Ladeveris Hathorne:

Yes I am the President of (IDI) Incredible Dancers International.

How long have you been dancing?

Ladeveris Hathorne:

Well I believe we all started from Stevie Wonder's "My Eyes Don't Cry" LOL but I've been line dance crazy since October 2007.

How did you get involved in dancing?

Ladeveris Hathorne:

I saw Wanda Mack and Choklit Lewis dancing together one night at a club and I immediately found out who they were and where they were dancing at. The next day I showed up and the rest is history.

What do you like most about line dancing?

Ladeveris Hathorne:     

I never think about my problems when I'm dancing, it gives me a peace of mind and its great exercise.

 

 

Line Dance Connection:

If you could change one thing about dancing, what would it be?

Ladeveris Hathorne:

I hate choosing between which parties to attend. I'd like to see people from the same areas have 1 large party together.

Tell me one thing about yourself that the dance community would find surprising.

Ladeveris Hathorne:

I sponsor a little girl named Margaret who lives in Zambia and I give to St. Judes. I love children!

Is there a funny dance story you'd like to share in 3 sentences or less?  

Ladeveris Hathorne:

Yes several people have heard this before including you but it always makes me chuckle when I think about it. Ali James spent the night over my house one time and slept under my daughters pink Barbie covers. :-)
