Line Dance Connection:	What's your name? Do you have any dance nicknames that you're known by?
Ray Morris:	My name is Ray Morris and I don’t have a dance nickname.
Line Dance Connection:	Where are you from and what city do you call home?
Ray Morris:	I am from Chicago and Chicago is my home.
Line Dance Connection:	What do you do in your professional life? Any hobbies outside of dance?
Ray Morris:	I work at the post office and I’ve been there for 22 years.   I don’t have any hobbies outside of line dancing.
Line Dance Connection:	Are you affiliated with any group or groups?
Ray Morris:	I am not with any groups, I'm pretty much independent.
Line Dance Connection:	How long have you been dancing?
Ray Morris:	I have been line dancing for 5 years and I have been creating dances for 4 years.
Line Dance Connection:	How did you get involved in dancing?
Ray Morris:	My friend Tracy Dunbar talked me into going to the Dorchester.  The first time I went, I didn't like it at all.  A few days later, Tracy asked me if I would go again and I said no.  But she wanted me to try it one more time, so I said yes.  So when I went back, The Linedance Divas from Chicago were having their Monday class.  I went to their class and been line dancing ever since.
Line Dance Connection:	What do you like most about line dancing?
Ray Morris:	I like how you can meet and make new friends. I like being able to meet the person or people behind the dances you like. I like how everyone can get together and have a good time without any drama involved.
Line Dance Connection:	If you could change one thing about dancing, what would it be?
Ray Morris:	Maybe seeing some more men get into line dancing.  Some guys might think it's boring or it's just for women, but if they see how much fun it is, their attitude might change a little bit.
Line Dance Connection:	Tell me one thing about yourself that the dance community would find surprising.
Ray Morris:	I am a big fan of The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Jazz music like Miles Davis and John Coltrane. Also I'm a fan of 80's music.
Line Dance Connection	Is there a funny dance story you'd like to share in 3 sentences or less?
Ray Morris:	A lot of people thought that Tracy and I were a couple when we started line dancing.  Even though I am flattered, that is not the case. We both work at the post office and she is one of my best friends.
