Line Dance Connection:	What's your name? Do you have any dance nicknames that you're known by?
Tejani Wright:	My name is Tejani Wright. I also go by TJ, Thumper & Lil Woo Woo.
Line Dance Connection:	Where are you from and what city do you call home?
Tejani Wright:	Born and raised in Cerritos, CA and it’s still my home.
Line Dance Connection:	What do you do in your professional life? Any hobbies outside of dance?
Tejani Wright:	I am a Library Media Technician at a middle school. If I'm not on the dance floor I'm on the pole (LOL) pole fitness that is. I love working with my girls group, book club, hanging out at food trucks with my friends. I'm a bit of dare devil so if you can climb it, hang from it, jump off it, or ride it…..I will try it!
Line Dance Connection:	Are you affiliated with any group or groups?
Tejani Wright:	I started off dancing with J&J Soulful Steps and have since co-founded the Get Wright Crew with my mom Wilma Wright.
Line Dance Connection:	How long have you been dancing?
Tejani Wright:	I've been dancing for 5yrs and addicted since day 1!
Line Dance Connection:	How did you get involved in dancing?
Tejani Wright:	I went to J&J's class and once I saw everyone dancing and having a good time I knew instantly that this was going to be my new Friday night activity.
Line Dance Connection:	What do you like most about line dancing?
Tejani Wright:	Dance is my therapy and creative release! No matter what I'm going through or how I'm feeling, once I get on the dance floor I'm in my happy place with people that I love and there's nothing better than that.
Line Dance Connection:	If you could change one thing about dancing, what would it be?
Tejani Wright:	I wish people were more genuine and supportive of others and their events. I don't like it when people attend events only to push their own or act as if they are celebrities that need to be in the spotlight. Show up, dance, have fun and leave the BS at the door.
Line Dance Connection:	Tell me one thing about yourself that the dance community would find surprising.
Tejani Wright:	I'm very OCD, so I have color coded dance cards for all of the dances that I know……oh and they are alphabetized…..and arranged by dance level.
Line Dance Connection	Is there a funny dance story you'd like to share in 3 sentences or less?
Tejani Wright:	I thought my mom had a boyfriend she was trying to keep a secret because every Friday she would go "Line Dancing" at "Church". So me being the nosey person that I am I had to check out this "Line Dance Class" and try to bust her. I kept coming back because I had to learn every dance and make sure I knew more dances than momma. (Lol don't judge me I know I'm crazy)
