William Eppinger:

Down here it's called linedancing.

Line Dance Connection:

Are you affiliated with any group or groups?

Right now I'm not affiliated with any groups but I am the founder of IMMORTAL TOUCH, and I was a member of W.M.I.B.

Line Dance Connection:

How long have you been dancing?

William Eppinger:

I have been dancing for 14 years now.

Line Dance Connection:

How did you get involved in dancing?

William Eppinger:

My friend and his father had invited me to attend class with them one day and I've been doing it ever since.

Line Dance Connection:

After you attended your very first class, how did you feel?

William Eppinger:

I felt like I found me a new hobby. I thought it was fun and you get a good workout in at the same time.

Line Dance Connection:

How did you get into choreography?

William Eppinger:

I was sitting in class and they were announcing creators of the linedances we were doing and I thought to myself…..I want to be on that list, so I'm going to give it a try.

Line Dance Connection:

How many dances have you created and what was the very first dance you created?

William Eppinger:

I have created 13 linedances. My first dance was “Just In Case” done to “Just In Case” by Jaheim.

Line Dance Connection:

Of all your dances which one would you say is your favorite?

William Eppinger:

I would have to say that “Bump That Rump” is my favorite.

Line Dance Connection:

In your own words, what makes dancing special?

William Eppinger:

Dancing is special to me because of my grandmother. When I first started dancing back in '99 I was criticized and talked by my family and friends because I was a male and going linedancing.  My grandmother made sure I attended every class I wanted to. She was my only supporter back then and she supported me until she passed away.

Line Dance Connection:

If you could change one thing about dancing, what would it be?

William Eppinger:

There's nothing I would change about dancing.

Line Dance Connection:

Tell me one thing about yourself that the dance community would find surprising.

William Eppinger:

For the last 4 years I've been dancing with a dead nerve and no range of motion in my left foot.
